The cutting forces developed during two different machining operations are shown in Figs. 4.76 (a) and (b). The inaccuracies (in the vertical direction) in the surface finish in the two cases were observed to be \(0.1 \mathrm{~mm}\) and \(0.05 \mathrm{~mm}\), respectively. Find the equivalent mass and stiffness of the cutting head (Fig. 4.77), assuming it to be an undamped single-degree-offreedom system.
