You work for a hospital and are implementing a complex patient care system. After nearly 36 months, the project has successfully passed all tests. In a hallway conversation with the CIO, Mea, and the sponsor, Gideon, they have approved the go-live for next week and directed the project manager to plan project close events four weeks after go-live. You advise Iris, the project manager:

a. During the planning of the project, the project management office advised the sponsor and key organizational stakeholders that they would need to provide a “wet signature” indicating their approvals.

b. Per ITIL, the preproduction review and presentation to the organization’s Change Advisory Board (CAB) should be planned for no less than two weeks from now.

c. Because we are in a heavily regulated industry, we’ll need to ensure that we have adequate coverage for the live event—and that means “all hands on deck.”

d. The SMEs for the clinical teams have sufficiently tested the solution, and the go-live will be seamless—not an event at all.
