Unfortunately, 15 percent of patients return for a second visit shortly after they are discharged from the hospital because of recurring symptoms or other complications. Suppose the hospital has 30 beds and they operate 24 hours per day. A patient on his or her first visit uses a bed on average for 18 hours. A patient on a return visit uses a bed for 50 hours on average for that return visit. How many patients per day can this hospital serve?
