1. Break into groups of three. 

2. Your instructor will give you five or six photographs of people, taken from recent newspapers and magazines. You have 5 minutes to work out as much as you can about each of these people, using only what you can see in the picture. Consider characteristics such as their 

• Conscientiousness, 

• Sense of humour and fun, 

• Intelligence, 

• Aggressiveness, 

• Approachability, 

• Reliability, and

• Other characteristics suggested by the photographs. 

3. Prepare a presentation based on your photographs and your assumptions. Explain clearly which items of evidence from the photographs led you to make those assessments.
