The other problem area is a lack of interdepartmental cooperation and understanding. Department managers reveal views of some of their peers reflected in what their employees say about them and the working conditions, but not in their presentations of self. Trust and rapport among managers, and some with the GM, is evidently low. Would team building for the management team bring managers together and set a better example for their associates?
