Further, millennials are comfortable shopping online and do not want to waste time roaming around in big-box retailers looking for the right sizes and styles. Based on feedback from millennials, Kohl’s launched an “Outfit Bar” that was inspired by Pinterest. Kohl’s customers can shop online or in the store and shop for outfits and find their favorite “look.” The in-store experience features signage and merchandise that seems tailor-made for Instagram. The online site has a companion landing page that lets customers shop by outfit. Social media personalities will curate the Outfit Bar selections, which will be updated every 30 days with new looks.
