For this assignment, you and a small group interview an expert from a different field. You can choose from the topics given in the previous assignment or consult with your trainer/instructor about choosing a different topic. The results of the interview are then drawn up in an interview report (as an article, for example) and presented by the entire group. The interview should be conducted by two or three persons, each of whom assumes one of the following roles:

• The interviewer leads the interview.

• The minute secretary takes notes.

• The observer is responsible for the presentation.

• The roles of ‘minute secretary’ and ‘observer’ are both taken on by one person if the group has only two people in it.

Naturally the minute secretary and observer are also allowed to ask questions.

The interview

• First reread the recommendations from this chapter.

• To prepare for the interview, draw up a list of questions.

• Interview the expert.
• Draw up an interview report or write an article.
The presentation for other groups • Use the recommendations from Chapter 10.
• Prepare the presentation using sheets or a beamer.
• Hold the presentation.
Additional presentation requirements • The presentation should have a maximum of X sheets and last no longer than Y minutes. Discuss this with your trainer.
• Present the results of the interview in logical order. Do not simply ‘read’
the answers to the questions asked!
• In conclusion, talk about the interview itself.
