How do you plan to work on these issues? in the second paragraph, describe a problem in your community or workplace that you would like to explore and solve in the upcoming units. Writing is a channel in which human beings communicate that constitutes language, emotion, lettering or recording of symbols and signs. I plan to improve my writing in personal, professional and academic situations, and I believe that my plans will be fruitful in achieving this.

There are three known aspects of writing, the writer, the writing itself and the reader; they are also known as ethos, pathos and logos respectively. They are the issues that I have considered to improve my writing. In the past, the perspective of the reader has significantly influenced my tone in writing in that, the choice of tone always depends on the person or the people I am speaking. For example, I used the same tone when talking to strangers and friends.

I plan to improve this by choosing the right tone to use depending on the people I am speaking about putting in mind that the voice will change but my expressions, thoughts will remain to be mine at all times. Moreover, writing has influenced me in the past as I switched to various styles of writing. Switching on styles of writing makes the readers be distracted from communication. I intend to improve on this by sticking to a style that is relevant to my area of study as well as support my new communication strategies.

As a writer, I am thrilled by diction and its dynamics in the society, academia and social life. Sometimes I have not chosen the right kind of words while writing in that I have not taken consideration when choosing the proper diction that is formal diction, casual and slang. I intend to improve on this avoiding slang at all times when writing and balancing between formal articulation and informal diction depending on the person or people I am writing to.

My community has a problem of waste disposal and the people have are not enlightened on Proper waste disposal systems. I would like to write a persuasive essay on educating and reminding them of this. The greatest challenge I will encounter while writing is fiction, it shall entail well-educated, not educated but can communicate and those not studied at all. The choice of words will be hard since I will have to talk to people of different abilities to communicate and understanding.

Some of the vocabularies used could be hard for those who are illiterate, and the literate will not know some of the slangs to use. Therefore, in the process of writing to the community, the diction will be a major challenge and therefore to ensure that writing to persuade the community. I will avoid a formal and informal diction and turn to casual diction which can be relevant to all the people in the community. In the end, making my communication be easier to the community as a whole.

It is important to note writing and communication via mouth are different, but it is what is written that dictates how one is going to communicate. While doing verbatim style, the tone, voice and diction of the writer affect comprehension, communication and effective passing of information.
