I have never worked for such an amazing team as much until I joined Bank of America. We use teamwork every day constantly and everyone is a vital asset to the team. We are all unique and the skills we have are needed to accomplish the tasks we are given on a daily basis. When someone needs help, there is always someone there that is willing to do it, and able to do it without complaining, but being generous and respectful. We have team activities working at a bank we have opening procedures and closing procedures that uses two people to accomplish the task at the same time. Say when we lock up the vault for the night, it can’t only be one person to close it. Rather there is a key that one person has and a combo for the second associate. The communication is very well, coming from a previous job that had no communication, I can really see the difference and how much more professional and organized working with the people I work for. I was never able to actually talk with my previous bosses. Now I can go out for drinks, and get to know my associates and even managers on a deeper more personal level. They share a similar vision and don’t just want to keep you at the same position you are in, rather show you how to get promotions and work with you to achieve so. Herzberg was a very good read and very relatable to me. He showed how much a business is made a lot by the manager and how the managers can affect their associates in either a negative or positive way. If the boss shows he is sincere and shows that he cares than it will make the associates care and share the same vision.
