As a consultant for the board of directors ACDBN, I feel that the ACDBN should seek to expand the role of immigrants in American urban areas. The reason for this suggestion is that immigrants came to America for a better life than what their country offered. Whether it was war torn, political refuge or economic insecurity their goal is the same, to have a better life. As YASMIN ARDEBILI stated “Immigrants find safety, dignity and a chance to add to the life we all lead in a unique haven here”. Immigrants see the US as a place that they are free to practice whatever religion they want as well as pursue whatever career they desire. Some immigrants have no problem assimilating and as Enrique said, Immigrants work hard with the hope that they will be succeed

ACDBN has a chance to reach many more immigrants than ever before and impact lives in a positive way. Immigrants in urban areas may not know of all of the resources out there that can help them progress and ACDBN can assist with that. Immigrants in urban areas will need assistance with Health care, education, jobs, and assimilating into American culture. Providing this assistance and guidance will be important for the survival and success of immigrants in urban areas.
