1. Oral presentation guidelines

A recorded oral presentation will be conducted in a small group of three students. This is designed to developcollaborative efforts through a pooling of knowledge and skills and to enhance students communication skills. It will also tackle more complex problems and understanding of the operating principles, functions and design of various separation equipment involved in the oil and gas industry. For the assessment, 80% of the marks will be assessed as a group, and 20% individually. This also includes the Question and Answer, and discussion of delegated roles and responsibilities in the group task. Two staff members will evaluate the presentation which will be conducted after the 11th week of the semester. Online marking of the presentation is to be done by the assigned evaluators.
