1. Prepare a document on Training and Development for your organization or any organization you are familiar with. 1.1. Assessing the training and development needs - i.e., identifying the information required; specifically: An analysis of the organization's objectives regarding Training and development A job analysis An assessment of the current performance levels of Employees in the organization. In short, identify the deficiencies which would serve as a rationale for designing the specific training programme (content) 1.2. Designing and Implementing the Programme State general and specific objectives of the programme. General objectives broad expectation for improvement performance; and specific objectives indicating expected changes in the trainees stated in terms of measurable behaviour. Identify training content including duration of the training. Methods to use in the training. . 1.3. Evaluating the Effectiveness of the Programme Design evaluation criteria (procedures) to assess the following four levels of evaluation. o Reaction - what the trainees think of the training they have completed. o Learning - measuring the learning of facts, techniques and principles taught during the training session. o Behaviour a post-training appraisal after a reasonable period of time on the job after the training in order to determine whether the trainees have improved on the job performance. o Results comparing the results of the training programme to the goals/objectives of the chosen organization, i.e. whether the training has impacted, e.g. improved moral, etc
