1. Using Microsoft Word or Excel, create a 5x4 (6x5 with labels) grid where the four divisions of Disney (Media Networks, Parks & Resorts, Studio Entertainment, Consumer Projects and Interactive Media) run along the top and the Porters Five-Forces Model runs along the left side of your paper. The Disney Case Study can be found in Part 6 of your David textbook on page 465. . 2. Review the textbook material that explains Porters Five-Forces Model in chapter 3. Also, review the Disney information you gathered from your minor project 1 research and the Cohesion case. 3. In each of the 20 cells within your 5x4 matrix, write the word High, Medium, or Low, to indicate the extent or degree to which the respective Disney division utilizes or follows the respective Porter strategy. 4. Prepare a three to five-page report that reveals your rationale for your assigned High, Medium, or Low assessments, as well as your overall evaluation of the effectiveness of the Disney strategy, particularly in light of the conditions listed in the chapter for each Porter strategy in terms of when it is most attractive. 5. End your report with recommendations for adjusting Disneys strategy to better align with or utilize these Porter strategies. If possible, use Lafley and Martin to further strengthen your recommendations.
