4. The University Credit Union is developing an online banking system (OBS) that allows users (customers and tellers) to perform various banking transactions via the web, personal digital assistants (PDA), automatic teller machines (ATMS), and terminals in the Credit Union offices. A credit union customer may check the status of their accounts and transfer money between their accounts via the web, PDAs, and ATMs but may only withdraw and deposit money via an ATM. The tellers access customer information via the terminal in the office. Requirement: OBS001 - Transfers money between two accounts belonging to the same customer using a PDA and the OBS. 1. The customer dials the online banking number, and the customized banking application is activated on the PDA. 2. The customer logs on to the system by entering their credit union membership number and a password. 3. The customer selects the transfer option. 4. The customer then enters the "from account" type, the "to account" type, the amount of money to transfer, and selects the complete transaction option. 5. The system checks that there is enough money to make the transfer. No customer account can have less than $50. 6. If the transfer is successful, the system displays a message summarizing the transaction. 7. The customer logs off the system. State any assumptions you make in answering this question. (a) Briefly describe the parts of a test case. [5] (b) Generate two (2) test cases using equivalence partitioning based on the constraint identified in OBS001. Describe how the partitions were identified. [10] (c) Generate two (2) test cases using boundary value analysis using the partitions identified in part (b). Explain how the test cases were generated using boundary value analysis. [10] Activ Go to 4.
