Since 2011, Mr. Slick has been running underground illegal gambling and prostitution operations in New York City, all of which were advertised as Massage Centers of New York, Inc., which was legally incorporated in the State of New York. Mr. Slick, as CEO of Massage Centers of New York, Inc., personally profited over a million dollars from those operations in the year 2017. In order to hide the source of these profits, Mr. Slick invested most of the money into a chain of legitimate restaurants, which he developed and designed, called Slicks, Inc., also legally incorporated in the State of New York.

In January, 2017, Mr. Unhealthy, a New York City Department of Health Inspector, inspected Slicks, Inc.s main flagship restaurant in Times Square, NYC, and found many violations of the New York City Health Code, and intended to fine Slicks Inc. about $50,000. When Mr. Unhealthy notified Mr. Slick of the infractions and the fine, Mr. Unhealthy strongly suggested that $5,000 "would sure prove handy in the Spring" when he planned to purchase a new fishing boat. Mr. Slick understood Mr. Unhealthy's obvious hint, and offered Mr. Unhealthy $5,000. if he would lose the paperwork concerning the failure of the restaurant to meet proper inspection guidelines. Mr. Unhealthy accepted the $5,000., and lost the paperwork.

The Manhattan District Attorneys Office engaged in an undercover sting operation following Mr. Slick, with search warrants and wiretaps approved by the Court based upon probable cause that crimes were being committed. It turned out that Mr. Unhealthy was an undercover agent in the sting. Based upon evidence collected in the sting operation, and testimony given by the undercover agent, Mr. Unhealthy, Mr. Slick was arrested.

In addition to the information presented above, the chain of restaurants was so profitable by June, 2017, Slicks, Inc. went public and began publicly trading the corporations stock on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Slick improperly began taking funds from employee retirement accounts, and used the funds to go on elaborate vacations in the Caribbean, falsely claiming they were business development trips. Mr. Slick in fact totally depleted several employees retirement accounts.
