Clubhouse is a mobile-only application that allows for audio-only social interaction and is growing in popularity among marketing professionals, as well as many other groups. Scenario: Marcia is leading the Clubhouse club called VC Global and is moderating the room with her colleagues Annette and Sylvie. They have been on the Clubhouse platform four hours and pledge to stay on until they raise $30,000 for charities to support women startup businesses.

Marcia knows about crowdfunding and getting people to make pledges to support causes. She asks the 140 people currently in the room to donate. The way to do that is to go to Marcia's full profile page on Clubhouse and click the Instagram icon at the bottom. That will open her profile, and in the profile is a link to the crowdfunding page. That's where they can make their donations.

So far in the campaign, there have been 75 donations made and the total raised is $24,000. Marcia says that they will keep the room open until they reach their goal. Once that happens, the room will be closed as a successful campaign. Until then, the moderators will keep talking, inviting others to speak and entertain the audience to keep them involved. During the event, the moderators may be grocery shopping, walking their pets, eating lunch, and other activities, while still being onstage and keeping the room active through voice engagement on mobile devices.
