The pharmacy connected to Cober hospital supplies medicine based on the prescriptions for all patients and distributes these medications to the nurse stations responsible for the patients ward .Hospital doctors write prescription and se d them to pharmacy .A pharmacy technician reviews each prescription and sends it to the appropriate pharmacy section.

At each pharmacy station a pharmacist reviews the order checks the patients file to determine the appropriateness of the prescriptions .Based on the duration and dosages, the pharmacist prepare a list. once filled a prescription, prescription label is generated listing the patients name , the drug type and dosages , an expiration date , and any special instructions .The label is placed on the system 'Drug container' and the order is sent to the appropriate station for necessary delivery .System generates an invoice based on the patients admission ,number, drug type, the drug amount dispensed and the cost of the prescription, which goes to the hospital billing section for necessary payment by the patient .If the pharmacist finds any problem, does not fill the order, the prescribing doctor i is contacted by the system to discuss the situation. Doctor may write another prescription depending on the outcome of the discussion.
