A high school decided to hold a fundraiser and to make and sell

scarves and tuques. Two classes were participating, one that would make the scarves, and

the others the tuques. The teachers in the Home Economics class would help.

Considering the number of people available and time constraints due to classes, only 150

tuques and 120 scarves can be made each week. Enough material is delivered to the

school every Monday morning to make a total of 200 items per week. Because various

people in the community are donating the material, each tuque sold makes a profit of $2
