A rectangular reinforced concrete beam, located inside a building in a coastal

town, is simply supported on two masonry walls $250$ mm thick and $5$ m apart

$($centre$-$to$-$centre$).$ The beam has to carry, in addition to its own weight, a

distributed live load of $15k\frac{N}{m}($service load$)$ and a dead load $($service load$)$ of

$5k\frac{N}{m}.$ Design the beam section following all norms of the IS $456-2000.$ Assume

V$330$ concrete and Fe $415$ steel. Also draw detailing of reinforcements.
