A. Right now: 1. Select a project. Use any project from your work, search newspapers or internet for examples of complex projects, or any other sources. 2. Get your project outline approved before proceeding. Send an email to me with the outline. B. The week starting May 4th is allocated for you to work and finalize the project report. As such, there will be no class assignment in that week. C. During the rest of the semester, especially during the project week: 1. Breakdown your project into at least 20 meaningful, non-trivial activities. 2. Establish the precedence relationships. 3. Estimate three times for each activity; calculate mean and variance for each. 4. Draw an AON network for your project. 5. Go through forward pass and backward pass calculations, get slacks. 6. Identify the critical path. 7. Calculate the mean and variance of the project completion time. 8. Find the probability of completing the project in 10% less time than the mean
