A. The Term Project for the Business Management course is to create your own business using the various concepts, techniques, and methods learned in the class. In doing so, you should address the following aspects:

1. Identify the Management Team for your company, including a brief Job Description of their duties and responsibilities as well as their remuneration. What type of business form is your company? In other words, is it a Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, LLC, or Corporation? Why did you select this particular business form?

2. Create an Organizational Chart that clearly delineates the structure of your company. You should use one of the various formats discussed in the textbook. Please explain why you chose this particular structure. Describe the functional units in your company, i.e., divisions, departments, strategic business units, etc.

3. Describe in detail the products and/or services provided by your company. Include prices for all products/services.

4. Provide detailed background information about your company, such as location, mission statement, strategic plan, description of the business, a layout of space, equipment requirements, types of suppliers, production methods and facilities, distribution, and storage, etc.

5. Who are the direct and indirect competitors for your company? Create a competitive analysis chart (SWOT) based on their strengths and weaknesses.

6. Discuss and describe the Target Market for the products and/or services for your company. Who are your potential customers? Where are they located? How many people are there? Do you have more than one segment? Provide as many demographic and psychographic characteristics as possible. For example, demographic information can be obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau. 7. Describe the Global aspects of your company. Discuss how you could expand your company into a Global Organization. In other words, how you plan to go about the process of becoming a worldwide brand. In which countries would you consider selling your products and why?

8. Develop a Marketing Strategy for your company. That is, how will you promote your products and/or services to the Target Market?

9. Discuss Human Resource Management issues, such as the number of personnel, recruitment, training, development, managing diversity, etc.

10. Create a Balance Sheet and Income Statement for the first year of operations, i.e., January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.
