ABC is a super shop based in Bashundhara. It has the departments as follows- 1) Sales 2) Warehouse 3) Purchase 4) Accounting. The accounting department uses software to record financial transactions. Sales are recorded in a sales system using a bar code scanner. The warehouse uses warehouse management software to record receive and issuance of products. The purchase department uses purchasing software to create purchase orders. The software are independent of each other. This creates situations as follows- 1) Sales department has to print out daily sales reports so that warehouse can adjust data on stock including sales and returns. 2) Those sales reports are sent to the accounting department so that the department can update sales accounts. 3) At the end of each day, the warehouse department sends a printed report that shows the request to purchase more products. The purchase department receives this report. 4) The purchase department creates purchase orders using the report received from the warehouse.
