This creates situations as follows- 1) Sales department has to print out daily sales reports so that warehouse can adjust data on stock including sales and returns. 2) Those sales reports are sent to the accounting department so that the department can update sales accounts. 3) At the end of each day, the warehouse department sends a printed report that shows the request to purchase more products. The purchase department receives this report. 4) The purchase department creates purchase orders using the report received from the warehouse.
