ACCT 553 week 4 course project.

This week, you are required to write a research paper on federal tax laws and its effect on the individual taxpayer.

Paper Criteria:

1. Select an issue that deals with tax laws.
2. Fully describe the issue and state why and how it effects the individual taxpayer.
3. You are required to write a 10-page report (this includes the cover page and your reference page).
4. Beside the resources in your textbook, you are required to use at least three outside resources (minimum of four resources).
5. Your paper must be done in APA writing format.

There are two objectives to this Course Project.

1. Analyze tax laws.
2. How does tax law effect the individual tax payer?

These objectives, while straightforward, are critical to your learning. Application knowledge is the key. If you can apply what you have learned in this course to your research paper, you will also be able to apply what you have learned in other environments after the class has ended.
