There is routine service jobs, then short jobs for immediate repair requested by customer and then service and checks on preowned car that owner would like to give for sales through Toyota.
The customer walks into the service center, he takes a token and waits for the service officer call. He waits and moves to the service officer when his token number shows a specific service officer number. Then the customer leaves his car and he is asked to come back in the evening or after hours depending on the urgency of the job.
Then job is transferred to supervisor of service jobs, supervisor reviews the same and provide a quote to the service officer and service officer provides the same to the customer as a tentative invoice rate, customer leaves to come later if it is acceptable to him or he leaves without giving the car to the service station. If yes, supervisor puts it in technician job tray, Technician comes and pick his job, does the necessary changes. If it requires parts replacement, supervisor fills request, fill up form and system registers the same and gets the parts to the service technician. If not available, information goes to the service officer.
