Describe your ethical framework and how you developed it. A framework for ethical decision-making addresses the "how" not the "what" of ethical decisions. It reflects the process of ethical decision-making and should be similar to the rational decision-making frameworks learned in earlier models. Your framework must include specific ethical considerations. As a guide, ethical frameworks frequently take the form of a series of questions, such as:

1. How would I want someone else to act in this situation?
2. How would my behavior be judged by my mother/father/ children?
3. What is the greatest good in this situation?
4. What values are represented by this decision?

• PERSONAL APPLICATION

What do you base your ethical framework on? It could be based on (e.g.):

• Religious convictions
• Ideologies (such as justice, democracy or Confucianism)
• Your personal values and ethical principles
• RESEARCH
  • Part A: Share three concepts from Chapter 8 around ethics in decision making.
  • Part B: Research and share three major theories on ethics not discussed in the book (you can review this week's discussion forum for theories that your peers found in their research).
