After reading through chapter 15 in your book,Unwantedby Jay Stringer, respond to the following reflection prompts:

How has reading this book changed your view of sexual addiction (or addiction in general) and those suffering from it?

This book gives a very profound view into the underlying reasoning for unwanted sexual behaviors and why people engage in them time and time again. Reading it gave me a different perspective on people that are caught up in sexual perversion and/or unwanted sexual behaviors. I believe this book will definitely be a great resource to use with future clients who may present issues such as sexual addictions, porn addictions, or maybe even both.

This week's FICIP verses and discussion also got me thinking and honestly kind of hit home. I have a couple of past relationships that I feel like God is leading me in breaking soul-ties to. My youngest daughter's dad was emotionally abusive and became a pretty scary person when I tried to get out of the relationship. He stalked me for a while and showed up at my house, busted in the door, and tried to go after a guy friend that was at my house because he thought there was something going on while I was pregnant with his child. There was nothing going on there, but he got physical with me that day because I was trying to get him out of my house. Thank God things were not worse than they were, because I would have been absolutely devastated if something would have happened to my baby girl. She is the only good thing that I actually got out of that relationship in the end. I have anxiety issues that I believe stem from that relationship. I have been in a prayer circle before where the breaking of soul ties was brought up, but I think there may be something deeper from that relationship that needs to be broken. The Lord has brought soul ties to my attention on a few different occasions and settings recently and I feel that this needs to be taken care of. I honestly did not understand the extent of all of this until reading this week's FICIP and assigned reading material. I love how the Lord works, speaks to us, and reveals things to us in His perfect timing.
