Air is compressed by a reciprocating compressor from 1.05 bar and 27 C to 7.9 bar. During the suction and discharge, there are inlet and out let pressure losses at the valves of 0.05 bar and 0.1 bar respectively and the atmospheric air is heated up after induction to 37 C. Determine the volumetric efficiency of the compressor. Assume law of compression and expansion to be the same, pu! = Constant and percentage of clearance volume 4%. [Ans. 84.2%] please the answer shoulde be equail 84.2%
