1. An exercise physiologist, Dr. Rake, wanted to study theeffect of DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) supplementation onperformance of weight lifters. He selected 21?26 years oldhealthy participants for the study. At the start of the experiment(baseline), all participants were given 250 ml of water to drink.Their performance (additional weight lifted) were measured afterone hour. Then 50 mg of DHEA and 250 ml of water was given to allparticipants to take. Their performances were measured after onehour by experts. Table 1 shows the results of the experiment.
