An organization had concerns about the frequent requests for changes in the engineering design of the products delivered to a client. The design changes affected the organizations schedule and resulted in accumulated overtime costs. Therefore, the management assigned a team to investigate the requests for engineering design changes by the client. The management suggested that the team applies the DMAIC problem-solving approach of Six Sigma for addressing the concerns.
