Angela is a marketing manager at a large multinational company which provides insurance and logistics services to the manufacturing industry. She has only been in the job for a short time and is still learning the requirements of her role. In her job she is required to interpret and analyse information from a wide variety of sources and from many of the company's overseas offices. Much of this information is complicated and difficult to understand. Also, Angela is required to have regular meetings with managers from overseas offices to develop marketing strategy. Many of these managers have differing views about how the marketing should be undertaken.

In addition to this, Angela receives a huge amount of emails each day as well as text messages and pop-up advertisements on her smartphone and computer. Angela often feels stressed and not in control of her day and feels that her work is suffering because she is making rushed decisions which sometimes turn out to be wrong.
