Angle of incidence is the angle at which Sun's rays strike Earth's surface. One way to understand angle of incidence is to think of someone shining a flashlight in your direction. If the flashlight is shining directly in your eyes, the light is intense and you look away. If the flashlight is shining on the ground below you, the light is less intense and you can see clearly.
