The company has succeeded to have national grant funding. The company currently has an edge over competitors as its research for healthy food has led to an increase in the number of its customers all over the world which now positions them to grow their company significantly. This has created a need for hiring staff in order to be able to respond to the needs of their customers.
Jawaher Ahmad, the companys CEO has met Khaled Omar, the companys HR manager in order to discuss the best strategy to hire the most talented staff who will help the company to grow its business. An analysis of its projected workload suggests that the company will need to hire approximately 24 new employees to get started. It will need to hire not only 10 new Chef cooks but also administrative and operation staff members including a receptionist, an office manager, a lab manager, a marketing professional, an accountant, and 10 operators. Khaled has a great experience in human resource management, he is confident that he will be able to quickly identify strong candidates for the administrative and operations staff positions. The current labor market works in Health & Bs favor, and, therefore, Khaled will be able to easily generate a pool of qualified applicants. The chefs cook, on the other hand, will be challenging to find as they need specific expertise which is not easy to find. Their number is limited, and they are in demand by competitors. However, Health & B is located in a strategic geographic area rich with companies, so Khaled is confident that the company can attract a good pool of talent if it is able to offer an opportunity that is attractive to the researchers.
