Micro motor assembly process Micro motor is a product of interest. It consists of many parts which are assembled to form three main parts including motor case, bracket, and rotor. These main parts will be assembled together to build a finished goods of micro motor as shown in the assembly drawing. The details of process are as followed. 1. Motor Case component 1.1 Bush cocking process : Fit a copper bush to a case by cocking machine 1.2 Magnet gluing process: Glue two pieces of magnet inside a case (WIP from 1.1) by hand. 1.3 WIPs (from 1.2) are on shelf waiting for being sent to micro motor assembly line. 2. Bracket component 2.1 Brush assembly process: Press lock two pieces of spring brush to bracket by hand. 2.2 Carbon pad assembly process : Insert carbon pad to bracket (WIP from 2.1) by hand 2.3 Cocking process : Fit spring bushes and carbon pad to bracket (WIP from 2.2) by cocking machine 2.4 WIPs (from2.3) are on shelf waiting for sending to micro motor assembly line 3. Rotor component 3.1 Insulator inserting process : Insert two insulators to both ends of rotor by hand 3.2 Winding process : Wind copper wire to rotor (WIP from 3.1) by winding machine 3.3 Pole assembly process : Assemble a pole to the shaft of rotor WIP from 3.2 (on the side having end of cut wire) by hand 3.4 Soldering process : Solder lead wire to a pole of WIP from 3.3 3.5 Send WIP from 3.4 to micro motor production line 4. Micro motor product 1. Washer assembly : Insert a thin plastic washer to the shaft of rotor (WIP from 3.4) in the opposite side to a pole soldered end by hand 2. Bracket assembly : Assemble bracket (WIP from 2.4) to the other end of rotor (pole soldered end) by hand 3. Case assemble : Assemble WIP from 2 to a case (WIP from 1.3) by hand 4. Cocking process : Fold edges of case to lock the bracket to the case by pressing machine 5. Testing process: Test a micro motor (check its spinning and the direction of spinning) 6. Screening process : Print date of production on the case by hand 7. Drying process : Blow the print date by hot air (dryer) 8. Final inspection process: pack it to a foam tray. 9.
