Objective:

The purpose of this assignment is to deepen your understanding of Transaction Processing Systems $($TPS$)$ and their critical role in the operations of businesses.

Instructions:

Select a Business: Choose one of the three companies provided in the Appendix of this Assignment and mention which company you selected.

Describe the TPS used by the business: Based on the system description, use your knowledge of the industry to answer the questions. Please describe any assumptions you make about the business.

Provide examples of the types of transactions processed by the TPS$.$

Discuss the TPS$\text{'}$s data management practices, including how data is collected, stored, and accessed.

Highlight any use of real$-$time processing or batch processing in the TPS$.$
