Assume that we have changed the way that we select a President. We will no longer have primaries and elections or an Electoral College. Instead, a diverse committee of unbiased citizens who are capable of putting aside their personal preferences and who can focus on big-picture concepts will select the person who will serve. You have been selected to serve on that committee. For this assignment, do the following: 1- think about what the major functions are for the job of President; 2- brainstorm to compile a list of the essential skills, qualities, and abilities that the candidate must possess to be able to perform those functions at a satisfactory level; and 3- develop some reasoning for why this is important in this position. In a Word document, list in Part A the major functions (at least seven) and in Part B at least six skills / qualities / abilities that the candidate should have at a high level to be successful, along with the reason why these would create success in the functions.
