AYOP Sdn Bhd is the producer of industrial lubricants made from palm oil waste. The following is data that have been collected prior to production in the beginning of 2023. The allocation basis for the variable overhead is by direct labor hours. The predetermined variable overhead rate is RM5 per direct labor hour. Each unit of the product requires 3 direct labor hours. The labor rate is RM10 per hour. The cost of raw materials is RM5 per kg, and each product will require 2 kg of raw materials. There will be a maintenance expense on machines which is based on the machine hours used. The maintenance predetermine overhead rate is RM450 per machine hour. The company estimates the machine hours for production are 20 hours. The company has prepared a proforma net operating income statement on budgeted sales of 2,000 units and sells the product at RM100 each
