Based on this case study:
George graduated and wanted to work and had 2 options for work (job offers). First is a high and great company and second is ABC consulting. He picked ABC consulting because he didn't want to spend so much time working and he thought that would be the case in the first job. Now the case study immediately starts off by letting us know that George was unhappy and plans to quit his job. Before taking his current job at ABC consulting, he had two offers in total; ABC consulting, and an offer from a big 4 organization. Although the big 4 organization offered a higher salary, George's priority was having a good work - life balance which he thought he would only have at ABC consulting. During his first day, George had high hopes for his new job as he was being told what the job is, what it requires, and how he could benefit them. He was also told about a 10% annual bonus given to all employees after their first 3 months in the company. All of this excited George and made him eager to start his new jo. However, after his first week, George found it hard to engage and suggest new ideas to his colleagues. He was even told by one of his colleagues that he was required to integrate himself more into the company culture, work, and listen more carefully. George disliked this coworker. After an incident where George completely blanked and had nothing to say when asked for his opinion during a team project, he decided to work extremely hard and perfect the report he was required to write for this project. However, after working very hard, following all the rules, spending day and night on it, his colleague still insulted the report and his ideas completely. This demotivated George entirely and he began giving and doing the bare minimum at work, such as not working as hard and showing up to work late and leaving early. As a result of this, during his next meeting with his superiors, George was told that he was not legible for the annual bonus as he has not performed well or as expected.
Based on this case study, base it off of organisational behaviour theories (motivation, decision making, and leadership). And include theories of those. How would motivation, decsion making, and leadership have helped better the situation. Use theories.
