There are 5 VLANS for each of the departments: Production, Sales, HR, Management and IT.

Each VLAN has the following no. of users:

Production : 60

Sales: 12

HR: 8

Management: 7

IT: 14 (including router, switches and servers)

IT VLAN will be used as the native VLAN

There is one 48 - port switch in each floor to connect all the users : Floor-1, Floor-2 and Floor-3 switches

The port fa0/48 on each floor switch is connected to a port on another 24-port switch in the first floor: Main Switch. The ports fa0/1-3 on the main switch are used for these connections.

Port fa0/1 on the Main Switch is connected to the port G0/0 on the central router located in the first floor. The Centeral router will be used to provide interconnection between different VLANs.

The ports on the Floor Switches are assigned to different VLANs and as follows:

- Ports fa0/1-24 = Production

- Port fa0/25-30 = Sales

- Port fa0/31-36 =HR

- Port fa0/37-42 = Management

- Port fa0/43-48 = IT

All ports on the Main Switch are assigned to the IT VLAN

Design the subnets using block 192.168.1.1/25 and provide the following:

1. Identify the subnet address, mask and range of useable addresses for each subnet.
