Can anyone comment on two items the below? Thanks!

1) The NFL currently has a rule in place that was agreed upon in the last collective bargaining agreement which bans football players between the ages of 18-20 from entering the NFL draft. Players must be at least 3 years removed from high school to be eligible for the draft. In the case of the 2019 NFL draft, Clemson Quarterback was highly regarded as the best prospect, but he ineligible based on his age. While Lawrence did not pursue turning pro that year, he could have sued the NFL and more than likely would have won his case and would have been ruled by a court of law, eligible to enter the draft, thus nullifying the NFL's age requirement. The NBA is the only other professional sports league that has a requirement to be eligible for employment. While this is a relatively new rule, NBA players must be 1 year removed from high school, creating the term "one and done," for many players. This article and similar cases spark debate on these rules, both in favor and against. I for one, am against any rule that prevents someone from providing for their families or making a living. Legally, people are allowed to work at 16, why force someone to go to school for one year before turning pro? Is it to help the NCAA to continue to generate huge revenues as a not-for-profit company and exploit "student-athletes"? Perhaps. The debate goes on and on, but we are beginning to see momentum in favor of the athletes, as the NCAA is now allowing players to profit off of their likenesses.

2) When it comes to the definition of independent contractors and who can be defined as one. It is brought up because of app-based drivers such as Uber and whether they should be defined as independent contractors or employees. Then it goes further to discuss the federal law determination of independent contractors. We talk about independent contractors in chapter 32.
