CAN I GET A CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK ON THIS ESSAY

I believe that technology-based training has changed how we learn, where we can learn and what we can learn. Using our computers, iPad/tablets, and phones we are able to gain access to e-learning with the move of our fingers. We just need wifi, so we can virtually learn anywhere. With the use of games, simulations and role-play we are able to have more interesting and fun training that keeps us engaged and enthusiastic about what we are learning. Especially if companies/organizations use simulation games, which give trainees hands-on training for certain tasks, replicating the on-the-job experiences. Companies/ organizations can also go one step further and use role-playing games to enhance employee performance and the ability to maintain certain situations.

If I was designing a technology-based training program I would use computer-based games to break up heavy content and to gauge the learning of the trainee(s). For example, my Hockey Hall of Fame teacher is using a quiz game that has five pucks with possible answers and you click the answer you think is correct and if it is correct it will go in the net and says GOAL. If you are incorrect it shoots outside of the net and gives you a retry. I would use computer simulations when a particular skill or skills needed to be learned. For example, when I was in high school there was a company that brought in a very realistic driving simulation for students to test out and get a feel for driving before they attempted for their driver's licences. Finally, I would use role-playing games to provide the trainee(s) with valuable customer service skills. This role-playing game would simulate different customer situations and how to effectively handle each situation in a positive proactive manner.
