Question: can you correct this flowchart. Write pseudocode for each example ( a through e ) in Exercise 2 , making sure your pseudocode is structured
can you correct this flowchart.
Write pseudocode for each example a through e in Exercise making sure
your pseudocode is structured and accomplishes the same tasks as the flowchart
segment.
For this practice, you will draw the structured flowcharts on paper using the control structures discussed in
this chapter. Then write the pseudocode to match the logic of the flowcharts for # Read carefully the
information below:
In the program example, I did # e and # e for you to review before working on this assignment. I hope you will
read the HINTS below very carefully, if not, go back and read it before working on this assignment.
Draw all of the flowcharts on paper you may draw them on one or two pages take pictures of each page
with your phone, and upload them below in the submission box by clicking on the paperclip to load save
the draft. DO NOT submit!!!
You will then write the pseudocode using Notepad or TextEdit Mac and save the pseudocode in the
filename CH PA
To submit the assignment Click in the submission box below, click on the paper clip, go to the file on your flash
drive, and doubleclick on the assignment filename. This will attach the file; you will now have two files in the
submission box the photos of the flowcharts and the pseudocode click the Submit button
HINTS:
When working on this assignment, here are a few pointers.
This assignment uses ONLY the structures on pages you must design the unstructured flowcharts into
structured flowcharts using ONLY these structures.
First, you should look at the overall flowchart and decide whether the decision symbol is a selection or a loop
structure.
Loops will have a flowchart line coming out of the decision that goes up on the right then come back in above
the decision. This is a loop, when writing the pseudocode you will use the WHILEENDWHILE statement.
If the decision symbol is not a loop, then it is a selection make sure you redraw this using the structure on pages
for a single or dual alternative decision. Notice how the decision symbol has a line coming out on the right
and left sides of the symbol. The right side will be for "yes"true and the left side is for nofalse ALWAYS!!
Sometimes we are not processing anything if the decision is no in that case; use the structure on page DO
NOT use modules, this assignment is for you to recognize proper structures.
Hope this helps you out.
Each of the flowchart segments in Figure is unstructured. Redraw each
segment so that it does the same processes under the same conditions, but is
structured.
