can you please provide me feedback on the material below

The phenomenological perspective assignment offered me the opportunity to interview individuals, 69 and older; about their current lifestyle, health, finances, family, living environment, community, work, leisure, and more. The lessons I learned from the interviews are life-changing. When I examine the three subjects I interviewed, they taught me that my future is in my hands. When I received the revelation that my subject's life is a product of their choices when they were younger, I realized that the wisdom that was imparted to me was revelatory. The interviewees also showed me that we are the conductors of our own lives, we choose our own journeys, and ultimately; we orchestrate our own destinies. Consequently, our latter days are contingent on our former days, and on the topic of aging, if we do not take care of ourselves when we are younger, and have a positive approach to aging, we will not have the best outcome when we are older adults.

The interviews supported my studies and research from the class. I was able to see clearly how personal control was active in each of the lives of my subjects. According to our text, everyone grows old differently, and although there are several factors that determine aging, possessing a healthy perception of one's abilities is important because it suggests how a person will age (Cavanaugh, 2023, p. 264). For instance, Gilda, a 73-year-old nonsmoker, with no health issues who resides in Florida, lives a very active life, that includes dating, sexual relations, weekend trips, and more. Her perception of self is inspiring, she refuses to allow her age to dictate how she should live. Debra a 74-year-old American-Indian woman who smokes and lives in New York has health issues, is not active, and thinks she is limited in her abilities to do things based on her health and age.

Personally, my eyes have been opened to the realization that we are the masters of our own future, and when we decide in our youth, to plan for our future; we must adopt an attitude of personal control that will cause us to continue to participate in the things we love and do, even as an aging adult.
