THE DEATH OF THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Mike Thompson, the Program Manager for the new development project, came into Howard

Bono$$s cubicle. $$Well$,$ the new manufacturing process is dead for this project.$$ Howard knew

that this day might come, but it wasn$$t any easier to take; after all, everyone on the Mechanical

Engineering team had spent a lot of hours trying to make it work. It had been the focus of much

of Howard$$s first six months since accepting a new position as Technical Project Manager $($TPM$)$

at the beginning of the new calendar year. Having moved from the Mechanical Engineering
