CASE STUDY ON FACILITY LAYOUT DESIGN II In Willy Wonka's factory, main task is to assemble sub elements manually. There are cleven work stations. The dimensions are 2012.5m. Willy Wonka needs help on redesigning the existing layout because of some reasons such as extra space requiremeat (70 m2) and adding new products/customers, free spaces should be kept, space of existing assembly activities tried to be decreased etc. Workstations 1, 2,3 can not be moved. Material flow is shown with unit load (UL). Supply is applied by using KANBAN. KANBAN has three stopping points (umload and load) and at the end, final good is manufactured. What is your advice to Mr. Wonka? How do you redesign the existing layout
