Senior HR Advisor

TopTech are seeking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor for the immediate commencement of

a major government-based Information Technology project. The successful candidate will

partner with the Chief People Officer to develop processes, policies and a culture that

displays diversity, inclusion, acceptance, collaboration and the opportunity for TopTechs

employees to have a voice and to reach their full potential.

The key accountabilities of the role include:

Provide oversight, interpretation and advice on key HR reports including data analysis

of headcount, vacancy rates, and exit interview analysis

Maintaining awareness of contemporary HR and IR practice, reflected in recommended

updates to policies and procedures

Partner with managers on transfers and relocation processes

Oversee the development and maintenance of position descriptions

Managing redundancies, terminations and demobilisations

Support implementation of a well-being plan to support workforce health and well-being

The key skills and experience necessary for the role include:

Tertiary qualification in Business or HR, or similar

A minimum of 5 years previous experience in a HR role, with experience in diversity and inclusion highly desirable

Experience in a medium/large business with exposure to information technology is

highly desirable

A working knowledge of current HR related legislation

A strong understanding of the fast paced and ever evolving nature of project-based

information technology work

Highly organised capable of managing a busy workload, delegating effectively and

meeting conflicting deadlines

The ability to plan and step out what needs to be done and deliver in a timely manner

Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of desktop applications and related software packages

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience of working with government organisations would be highly regarded

Current Drivers Licence and your own reliable vehicle.
