Starting a new job can be stressful. Getting to know not only the job role you will fulfill, but also the tasks you are expected to complete in a day can be daunting. In the first week of the new job you have started, you feel slightly overwhelmed but reassure yourself you will get the experience you need in the weeks to come. As you settle into your role, you find yourself unsure of whom to go to for certain process clarifications, and you have not received any company manual on how the area you work in handles sickday requests or general policies. You continue into the next week, without much more direction, and you still have not yet clarified what benefits you have; you know they are part of the compensation package you agreed to but have not received any more information about how the benefits work. Each day you are introduced to new personnel, and your supervisor has checked in between meetings to ensure you are continuing your daily tasks, but they seem to always be in a rush when doing so By week three, you havent received software training for one of the software packages you will ultimately need to begin data entry on but you have been making great relationships with those in your department.
