Chapter 4 Case Assignment Internal Control Case Tight Lines Fishing and Camping Supplies Using the narrative process descriptions starting on page 200, students must create a System Flowchart for the Tight Lines Fishing and Camping Supplies Sales and Cash Receipts process. Flowcharts will be graded on completeness (did you include all components of the process) clarity and neatness. Flowcharts should be completed in Excel. Two separate flowcharts should be made; 1) Sales Process, 2) Cash Receipts Process, but both should be included in one Excel workbook (2 different tabs within one workbook).

In addition to preparing the flowchart, students must identify weaknesses within the processes, and communicate those weaknesses in a MEMO to management. Students should use the lecture materials on proper internal controls as a guide to understand what controls or activities are missing or ineffective for this company.
