Christina Christo, the 21 year-old daughter of James Earl Paiva's former wife, testified that in 1983 she discovered a plastic bag containing white powder in one of Paiva's shoes. Christina testified that she had regularly used cocaine in the past and at age 14 developed an addiction to the drug. Christina testified that based on the appearance and taste of the substance it was cocaine. The defense appealed the trial court's admission of Christina's testimony. Do you agree?
