Objective: Create a simple event registration portal using only HTML and JavaScript. Upon submission, the registration details should be displayed on the same page, showcasing a simplistic approach without any CSS styling.

Create an HTML File: Start by creating an file. This file will serve as the foundation for your event registration form and include the script linking.

Task $2$: Create the Registration Form

Form Structure: Within insert a element with the following inputs:

A dropdown selection for the registrant to choose an event date.
