Compose a proposal and annotated bibliography in order to:

a) identify and find more background information a social issue

b) research the issue further for your final Un-essay assignment.

For this part of the assignment, you are going to

propose the topic that you are going to focus on for your UnEssay project

The topic should be a social issue

select a primary text from the course

list any related terms (i.e., key words, phrases, historical figures and/or events)

construct a research question to guide your research

Remember to base this part of your assignment on at least ONE Wikipedia page that is related to your topic.

You are going to build your knowledge further by closely reading three more texts that relate to your topic.

Annotate only the references for your three additional research texts

Each annotation should be 1-2 lines long - no paragraphs

Label each annotation as either a critical or creative insight

Paraphrase and quote key words/phrases where necessary and remember to cite the paragraph number
